Our Itinerary
About the Itinerary
Our worldwide adventure will begin on the 20th May 2009. We plan to visit the following countries -
We will arrive in Abu Dhabi at 10:00pm on Wednesday the 20th of May 2009. We are going to be staying with our friend Davey for 8 days. She will be taking us for a champagne brunch and to the beach and a water park.
We will be arriving in Bangalore on the 29th of May 2009. We plan to work our way up through India visiting Mysore, Hampi, Goa and Aurangubad. After this we will move further north to visit Kanha National Park, Varanassi, Agra, Delhi, Jaislmer and Nainital.
We plan to travel to Beijing around 17th July. We will work our way to Datong, Xi'an, Chengdu, making our way further south to Hong Kong. We want to visit The Great Wall of China and The Terracotta Soldiers.
We will only be staying in Hong Kong for a few days and have nothing planned there yet.
We are planning to arrive in Vietnam late August, arriving overland across the border from China. In Hanoi we will meet kirstys dad for a few days then travelling North to Sa Pa and then work our way south staying with Karen in Ho Chi Min City.
We will travel overland from Vietnam on 26th September into Cambodia. We will start in Phnom Penh visiting S21 Prison and the Killing Fields. Afterwards we will travel by boat up to Siem Reip to see Ankgor Wat. Plan to be in Cambodia 7-10 days.
We aim to arrive in Thailand around the 19th of September 2009. We will be visiting hill tribes and elephant trekking in the north, and hope to do a diving course in the south. Family members will also be meeting up with us for a while when we are here.
Orangutans!!!! From the 24th November - 27th January we are doing an orangutan project. We will be climbing Kota Kinabalu, visiting turtle island and going to Singapore.
We have the year working visa for Australia. So we plan to fly into Sydney and then rent a campervan and travel up the East Coast, ending in Cairns. Then we hope to find work in Queensland before renting another campervan and doing Ayres Rock and the West Coast, ending in Perth. Again we will need to raise some more money in Perth before flying to Adelaide and renting a car to explore the area. After we have completed a full circle of Oz we will have a little holiday over in Taz before returning home to England in Jan 2011.
Sky dive, Bungee jumping and of course swimming with sharks!!!!
Relax.
If our money situation isnt too dire at this point we aim to visit family in California and go to some tourist hotspots.
